Following the 2024 Democratic National Convention, Javier Vinuela and I resolved to carry a police barricade across Michigan Ave in order to actuate the heavy police presence. We carried one for as long as we could until a police officer told us to put it down. We obeyed, then ran around the corner to find another barricade and start over. Due to the amount of police in the Chicago Loop, it took us nearly an hour to walk from Wabash and cross Michigan.
